When they were finished, one of the men took what my father thought was the check for $9700. They waited 5 days to let me know that it was actually the receipt for the cashiers check. The trash was picked up 2 days earlier so I could not find the actual check. The told the business department that the bank would not cover the check for 90 days but that I would pay 1/3 each month for the next 3 months. They continued to call, even though each month, I paid them $ 3233.00. They also reported me to a collection agency. Right after, I paid the last installment a few days later the temperature dropped considerably and the heater was blowing cold air. One night, it was 41 degrees in my 87 year old Fathers house. Come to find out, the had never hooked up or turned on the gas. That was for 3 full months!"

I told him the customer service rep said I could let him know that I could get a free service trip by letting him know that all I needed to do was let him know about the free offer. He said I was supposed to get that arranged before he showed up at my house. Only after I told him Im going to contact the company did he decide to tell me go to my computer to set up the free trip details. Then he said my motor was making noise and asked me if I wanted to get an estimate to replace it. I told him I just had the motor replaced a few days before your company replaced my $700 circuit board. He said this company didnt replace it and that this motor that was replaced was not for the heater. I should have been charged anything since your company should have made sure thew heater would also with the new $700 circuit board. I guess you train your techs to try to rip off your customers thinking that customers are stupid and dont know what a blower motor is? He didnt bother to think that my unit was left in non-working condition by the previous tech and charged me $100 for doing diagnostics regarding the unfinished job by your previous techs that left my system inoperable. Without trust there is no relationship to keep with scammer techs that rip off customers"

He seemed more interested in upselling additional products than checking the system properly. The biggest reason for the rating though is the technician told me my refrigerant levels were at 0. Which I doubted as everything was running properly. But to be safe, I went through my home warranty and had to spend additional money for them to send someone to check on the supposed low refrigerant/leak. Turns out the refrigerant levels were totally fine. The problem was the technician did not read the levels properly. Our OD unit has valves that have to be opened manually in order to open the lines and get a proper reading. I learned this from the technician sent by my home warranty company."
