Midland Air Service Experts was thrilled to volunteer with the Midlands Ride for Kids in April. This marks the second year that Midland Air has raised money for this remarkable event that helps fund the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, the primary nonprofit financing research into childhood brain tumors. The raised money funds free education resources, college scholarships for brain tumor survivors, and emergency financial help for families.
Midland Air Service Experts donated $1000 to this wonderful cause and the nationwide event has raised over $500,000. Rebecca Jumper, Midland Air’s PLUS Maintenance Agreement Specialist, has been volunteering for the event since 2014 and her father’s motorcycle group rides in the Midlands Ride for Kids each year.
“My dad’s riding club participates every year because they can have a blast and ride motorcycles, all for an amazing cause.” Check out Rebecca’s dad below with his 2016 rider:
The philanthropic motorcycle club may do it for fun, but Midland Air Service Experts doesn’t have as many motorcycle riders. “We just do it to help the kids,” said Rebecca.
