Sales Training
The sales training contains:

  • Five (5) Residential Sales Consultant classes yearly.
    • Two week class focused on technical and sales to better equip the RSC for success in their area.
  • Two (2) Commercial Account Manager classes each year.
    • Two week program focused on technical and sales to better equip the RSC for success in their market.
  • Two (2) different sales programs provided for General Managers twice a year, totaling 4.5 training days, focusing on sales culture and daily sales management.

Technical Training
The technical training for technicians includes:

  • HVAC tune-up procedural training twice a year
  • Carbon monoxide and heat exchanger inspection in the fall
  • Technical communication and ‘build-a-tech’ semiannually
  • Ongoing NATE certification and specialty classes as needed

Service Experts Heating and Air Conditioning is investing in additional training through the launch of a Learning Management System, to drive assigned and ad hoc programs to better offer a complete education to our technical staff.

Miscellaneous Training

  • Twice a year, conduct Operational Excellence for General Managers, to provide support, tools, and structure for operating a business from the P&L standpoint.

Customer Service Specialist

  • Three (3) times a year, participate in outbound calling with a one (1) day program. In this class we cover HVAC basics, what drives people to purchase, calling procedures, scripts, customer buying signals, and controlling customer grievances.

Dispatcher

  • No formal courses offered. On the job training conducted by the General Manager and applicable staff at center level.
